My name is Juan Cantor, the owner of JC Barbershop and Studio. I am a barber and a scalp micro-pigmentation artist. I started working as a barber in 2015 in Miami, FL. Through the years, I enjoyed making people feel great about their look, so I started providing scalp micro-pigmentation services in 2019. Providing this procedure has added more fulfillment to my career, as I see my client’s confidence grow. In 2021 I opened my first office in Winter Haven, FL. where I provided my services to the public by appointments and in 2023 I relocated to Miami, continued offering scalp micropigmentation services, and opened up a barbershop. My goal is to help families feel and look their best. It is my pleasure to serve you!

Who is a candidate for Scalp Micro-Pigmentation?

Men or women who are experiencing hair loss, thinning hair, hairline recession, pattern baldness, hair transplant scarring, and alopecia.
What to expect before, during, and after the procedure?

Before getting started, you will come in for a free consultation where we will observe and talk about your needs and wants.
During the sessions, I will measure and draw the hairline based on client needs and preference. Then, the head will be cleaned, and a topical anesthetic will be applied to the skin to numb up the dermal layer and minimize any pain. During the procedure, you will lay comfortably and listen to music as the work is done. When finished, the skin will be cleaned with water and a disinfectant soap. An ointment will also be applied to the scalp in order to provide healthy healing.
In order to obtain the best results, during the first days after your procedure, avoid exercising and sweating, washing the head, touching the head, shaving, or applying a moisturizer that is not the specified ointment. The ointment should be applied twice a day for three days.
For the first four weeks after the procedure, avoid sunlight to the scalp, chlorinated pools, using saunas or steam rooms.
